The National Geospatial Agency (NGA) chose to relocate from South St. Louis to approximately 100 acres of mixed-use residential, commercial, and industrial property in near north St. Louis City, and EOI/ERT worked with the City on resolving significant environmental issues. Presenting the NGA with a clean, construction-ready site was an expensive and formidable challenge on many levels. EOI provided a fixed price contract to address cost overrun risk, obtained Brownfield Tax Credits for the City and, with ERT’s assistance, designed on post closing insurance program for NGA addressing unknown environmental risks.
