
Eryn Bassett - Risk Evaluation
Chief Operating Officer, Environmental Operations, Inc.
Ms. Bassett is the Cheif Operating Officer and has served as an Environmental Professional with Environmental Operations, Inc. (EOI) since 2005. She is directly involved business development, implementation and employee development.
Prior to becoming the Chief Operating Officer for Environmental Operations, Inc., Ms. Bassett was the lead Project Director for the 1.5-billion-dollar relocation of the Next National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) West facility. The NGA is the nation's primary source of geospatial intelligence for the Department of Defense and the U.S. Intelligence Community. Ms. Bassett spearheaded the City’s enrollment of the North St. Louis site into the BVCP. Ms. Bassett was also instrumental as the lead in directing and facilitating cooperation between the City, State, and Federal Agencies.
The site of the future NGA West facility includes the remediation and demolition of 136 structures, relocation of commercial and residential tenants, and an extensive soil remediation and excavation scope. Mrs. Bassett works as a central point of contact with the City of St. Louis, MDNR, the Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Air Force to assure that the project achieves State and Federal requirements for future site use.
Ms. Bassett also directed outreach with residents, community leaders, and local contracting groups including minority and women owned businesses to assure participation is this instrumental project for the City.
Ms. Bassett possesses a combination of technical expertise in property due diligence, compliance services and Brownfield redevelopment. Ms. Bassett’s diverse background enables her approach projects from a technical and regulatory standpoint. Additionally, her unique background in working with various clients and regulatory agencies allows for her to provide direction and assistance navigating various regulatory requirements and programs.
