Former Tungsten Queen Mine

Closed since 1971, the Tungsten Queen Mine was at one time the largest tungsten mine in the United States. ERT created Tungsten Reclamation LLC, to acquire rights to the land and indemnify the site owner. ERT’s plan is to remediate the tailings on the site while recovering tungsten and quartz with an on-site concentration plant. The longer-term plan is to reopen the mine itself as there are both proven and potential reserves remaining.
